Not Everything Needs to Be Understood

Not Everything Needs to Be Understood

Not Everything Needs to Be Understood

Some things
are not easy to explain.

Not because they are complex,
but because they were never meant
to belong to language.

We are used to explaining everything—
our feelings, our choices, our relationships,
even ourselves.

As if only when something is understood
does it truly exist.

But that isn’t always true.

Some feelings
simply are.

They don’t need to be analyzed,
or confirmed.

Their existence
is already enough.

You don’t have to find
clear words for every thought.

And you don’t have to make sure
everyone understands you.

Because understanding has its limits.

And some forms of existence
remain most true
beyond those limits.

You can keep a little silence.
A few things left undefined.

That is not absence—
it is a different kind of completeness.
